I never used to bring sunburned at the sand and I wouldn't even wear sunblock. Now I burn efficiently. Why is that?

Our ozone layer is thinning maing the sun more powerful
The body essentially runs out of qualifications to absorb sunlight minus burning as you age; it's especially noticeable after someone have a bad sunburn, that they will other have difficulty tanning short burning subsequently.
Not sure but I would certainly consider getting my skin checked out by a dermatologist.
As we age, our skin become more sensitive to the environment including the sun. As pointed out, the ozone layer is thinning. So don't embezzle chances on skin cancer, use that sunblock!!
You may own changed your dietary intake. If you're having more iron type foods [meat, lettuce, cabbage] and smaller amount zinc type foods [asparagus et c.] your skin may be more sensitive.
