Im Filipino (both my parents are Filipino too). I have freckles from the sun on my cheeks. I am golden-brown on my face and own gotten sunburnt-with peeling (3 or four times contained by past while at the beach/pool) Am i more prone to skin cancer than other Asians?Im Asian and I enjoy freckels on cheeks. Does that parsimonious I own smaller amount melanin and more prone to skin cancer?
I believe that because you enjoy freckles it means that you own a lot more melanin that's why you own freckles...but no just because you own freckles and are asian it does not mean that you are more prone to skin cancer...
a moment ago make sure that when you progress out to put on some sun block and you should be fine...

freckles have more melanin hence it is hyperpigmented. Same risk for skin cancer as general population.
