If you own have shingles, can you still draw from chicken pox?
No - you only get hold of shingles if you have previously have chicken pox, and you only capture chicken pox once in your life span!

If you have have shingles, you have already have chicken pox. The shingles virus is caused by the chicken pox virus that stays surrounded by the body. You will not contact chicken pox again. Shingles however is totally different, and you can have more than one break out. Having Shingles can exact a person who have never had chicken pox to get hold of them.
