you can't bring it by breathing the air merely touching somthing they touched then putting the virus contained by your eye or mouth. I would keep wash the hands item and spray everything they touch with lysol. Most plausible 3 days incubation.
If you smelled the vomit or diarrhea, then you are exposed. I deduce 80% of those exposed get it and it is usually 24 hours or smaller quantity before you bring back sick. Sorry.
normally when one character gets that surrounded by the house everyone will get it, that virus spreads similar to crazy. You can try using lysol in the bathroom and spray it contained by the house to kill some of the germs but in general you will get it 24-48 hours after the closing person have had it and after you will have it for 24 hours. Then once you enjoy it you can't get that same virus again
