i have a sore throat yesterday... and i used soothers.
try garggling with saline water mix or alum(its a spice) and hose
Gargle with reheat salt dampen or listerine it numbs it and cleans it up.

Get her some throat spray. That Vicks 24 works. I think thats what its call. And if it gets worse, i would articulate take her to the doctors. You dont want it anyone serious and letting it go.
Hot tea might relieve her. Or have her hold big gulps of water, next lower her chin to her neck and swallow. That forced the hose down harder and helps clear gunk out of the throat that might be making it sore.
If its a dry sore throat hot drinking hot things approaching tea or hot chocolate or even just hot hose can make it have a feeling better. Cold things work as well if its merely painful. Try rime water or smoothies. Of course these will merely relieve it temprarily, but its all you can do until it go away on its own. If it persists next go to your doctor.

Lozenges that will help soothe her throat.
But if it doesn't step away, then she really wishes to go to the doctor to attain it checked out in crust it's strep throat. Then she will need a prescription drug.
