I put my arm in that item that checks your blodd pressure and one othe rthing
and it said i have prehypertension..
can anyone transmit me how i got that? and why?Im 12 years feeble, and i put my arm contained by those item at walgreens nn it said i own prehypertension, what inflict it?
Normal blood pressure for adults is 120/80 or below. Slightly giant blood pressure is called prehypertension; this length is 120-139/80-89. Why did you get this result?
1. Automatic blood pressure cuffs (such as the one you used) frequently furnish inaccurate reading because the cuff is too small or large and because your arm be slightly misplaced (the "air tube" must be over the artery surrounded by the crook of your elbow).
2. Blood pressure in citizens under 18 vary widely according to age. A "prehypertensive" reading for an adult may be a "normal" reading for your age.
3. Usually near is a sign ("disclaimer") beside one of these machines stating that the machine cannot diagnose any conditions and that you should see your doctor if you enjoy concerns.
4. Only a healthcare provider can take your blood pressure and explain to you if it's high or low for your age. There are tons many other factor to consider, such as medications, your sex, your largeness and weight, and your standard physical condition.
Short answer: it is extremely unlikely you have prehypertension. Use this domestic device again, for fun, if you want, but don't believe it!
You got that reading because those machines are designed for ADULTS. If you'd read the precautions on the electrical device, you would have agreed that.
You really should be discussing this with your parents. Those cuffs are designed for adults. Tell your parents what you hold done to be sure nothing is really wrong beside you.
