I know that bcbls of Florida does not cover the gastric bypass surgery anymore, but is it still possible to make an appeal of anykind to enjoy it done anyway. Please help.If I hold bcbs of FL robustness insurance will I know how to hold a gastric bypass or a lapband?
You can do an appeal. See if your doctor would write a memorandum of medical necessity for it. It would help your travel case. Most
Health insurance companies will not cover that type of surgery,although some might if you can supply some kind of proof of the medical necessity
I don't surmise so. I have BCBS and have to pay for the surgery myself. However, my doctors department did give me a index of companies I could do my fianacing through. So far, it's been great. I hold had a lapband for almost a year presently and gone down 4 dress sizes.
