I own what is call scratchy throat asthma, anyone else own it, any suggestions to comfort hold on to the cough down

its like a irremediable tickle thats worse at night. I enjoy an inhaler. I have tried a few of them and right very soon the one I have doesn;t seem to be to be working either. My colds later on the average of 4 weeks. I sound similar to I smoke, which I never have. Its totally irritating and if there is something excluding drugs out there I would approaching to try it. I drink water, hold cough drops, I can't take cough syrup because it its asthma. I even resort to for a while liqueur once in awhile to coat the throat. Help me. There have to be someone else out there i.e. going through this alsoI own what is call scratchy throat asthma, anyone else own it, any suggestions to comfort hold on to the cough down
My daughter gets an asthmatic cough when she's sick. Sounds similar to exactly the cough you're describing. When her cough gets really desperate, instead of just using the inhaler, I put her on a nebulizer. She get capsules of both Albuterol and Pulmicort for the nebulizer and I'll pass her one breathing session of each. It make her jittery for a bit, but it seems to assistance calm the cough. Hope this help. I know how absolutely frustrating this cough can be- perfect luck!!
I do not believe that "scratchy throat asthma" is a diagnosis.
Propel sport water works pretty resourcefully. I don’t have asthma but that seem to work. Also, it could be from going to bed at a late time close to 11pm or later (b/c I seize a soar throat when I go to bed postponed for a couple days).
Gargle with brackish water. Just put a teaspoon of brackish in one-half chalice of water (cold or warm); I use cold hose down. Stir the salt contained by well. Use a small amount of mixture to gargle - repeat this 2 or 3 times and the tickle should stop. (At times, I enjoy sprinkled salt into my paw from salt shaker and "eaten" it, followed by some hose - but only when the "tickle" is at its' worst!)
