Hep C is a bloodborne infection. That means empire get it from blood transfusions and needlesticks. It is extremely contagious and pretty hardy. There is a casual it may be sexually transmitted, so people are urged to be cagey with their sexual behavior if they own Hep C. There is not vaccine for Hep C
Hep B is also bloodborne, but it can also be spread during sexual intercourse. It is 100 times more infectious than HIV and can survive out in the clear for up to a week. Many people contract it from sexual partner, but some people seize it at birth from their mothers.
Hep D is similar to Hep B, but you can only pick up it if you have Hep B. Hep D doesn't ensue alone.
Hep A and E are foodborne. You catch it from consumption contaminated food or ingesting contaminated seawater. Hep A is worldwide, but Hep E is usually confined to Asia. There is a vaccine for Hep A, but not Hep E.
